Dubbing Studio is a playful porn comedy we shot in a recording studio owned by a close friend. To bring it to life, we gathered Silvia Rubí, myself, and actors Gabe Tonic and Mark Lavey for an intense but incredibly fun day of shooting.
Although it was a long and demanding session, the energy on set was electric both in front of and behind the camera. The result is a piece that blends humor, chaos, and pleasure… with plenty of moments that will make you smile as much as they turn you on.
Each of the three chapters in the series explores a different style: one lesbian scene, one straight scene, and finally a POV episode where the action is experienced directly through the performer’s perspective.
Dubbing Studio is also a tribute to the art of porn dubbing, a craft that has slowly faded as the industry has shifted toward shorter, more fragmented content instead of full-length films requiring dedicated voice work.
Silvia Rubí plays a bold but inexperienced young woman stepping into the world of erotic dubbing. On her first day, she quickly realizes it’s not as simple as she imagined, constantly challenged by the demanding sound engineer.
Irina Vega guides her through the process, showing her that true performance requires letting go, fully embodying the role, and diving into the moment. The key is authenticity… even in the smallest details.
But things take an unexpected turn. The studio becomes a stage for a cast of eccentric characters: a boyfriend who discovers his partner’s job includes some “extras” not mentioned in the contract, and an angry boss stuck in Madrid traffic, about to walk into complete chaos.
What follows is a mix of tension, comedy, and escalating situations that spiral out of control in the best possible way.
