The fourth edition of the San Francisco PornFilmFestival August 16th through 27th offered a virtual festival with 69 films in seven programs, including four programs broadcasting live from the historic Brava Theater, hosted by Q Wilson.

The San Francisco PornFilmFestival is a multi-generational celebration of the industry’s history, and a look forward to the innovations of today’s adult filmmakers pushing the genre of sexual cinema. An accessible, hybrid event that takes place both online and in-person, screenings and filmmaker talks broadcast live from San Francisco, California to an international audience, powered by PinkLabel.TV

In 1970, San Francisco broke ground as the first city in the United States to host a public screening of hardcore sex, with the International Erotic Film Festival at the Presidio Theatre. Sexual rights and free speech are as important now as they were half a century ago. The festival’s debut honors the city’s sexual rights movements and cinematic history.

The San Francisco PornFilmFestival seeks to showcase the creativity and craft of adult-oriented filmmaking from the San Francisco Bay Area, and beyond. Inspired by numerous adult film events, they have embarked on this journey to celebrate a vibrant legacy of sex-positive film artists.

This year there has been a great variety of genres and themes and plenty to explore!
